Eden Gabbeh 8x10 Wool and Silk
Inspired from Gabbeh tribal rugs woven by the nomadic people of the Zagros mountains, this is new collection of contemporary with a whimsical twist.
These rugs reflect the agricultural lifestyle of these people. They have simple yet whimsical designs that are often stylized human, animal and plant forms mixed with geometric motfis.
The most interesting part of this contemporary new design is there is no formal graph for these rugs.
Wool yarn is given to the weaver and he or she weaves whatever inspires him- colours, weather, and their surroundings.

Materials: Hand-spun Wool mix with hand-spun natural Silk accents. On a cotton base.
Construction: Hand-knotted (Persian weave) rug. Made in Rajasthan, India by the finest weavers and artisans.
