2 minute History Lesson: Prayer Rug

This is an amazing Iranian prayer rug from Balochistan province (which borders Pakistan and Afghanistan as well).

How to identify a prayer rug?

The design of most prayer rugs is called Mihrab.

They don't have images of animals or people in them.

This particular one is hundred percent wool and roughly forty years old. We're cleaning it :)
