These are the oldest form of the man made floor coverings.
Flat woven rugs are sturdy, reversible, and are most popular for cottages, kitchens, and living rooms. Flat rugs are woven all over the world, but the best designer dhurries are made in India from 100% local wool. Dhurries from other countries are often cotton that lacks the wear and cleaning qualities of pure wool.
