Rug Size For Dining Area

The size of Rug should match the size of the table

Your table and chairs should all rest on the rug. Standard Sizes: 6x9 feet - 4 chairs 8x10 feet - 6 chairs. 9x12 feet - 8 chairs. 

Here is another example of where the table and chairs rest completely on top of the rug.
